Features

On the module's homepage, you will find access to the consent popup configuration. In this area, you can activate the consent banner.

Google's Consent Mode V2 is natively integrated with three options:

  1. Advanced
  2. Restricted
  3. Basic

The Advanced Consent Mode will send an anonymized ping to Google services as soon as possible, even if the user has not made a choice yet. The Restricted Consent Mode will send an anonymized ping only if the user does not consent. The Basic Consent Mode will send a ping to Google services only if the user consents.

Google Tag Options

url_passthrough: If you want internal links to pass advertising identifiers (gclid, dclid, gclsrc, _gl, wbraid) in the URLs of the links while waiting for consent to be granted.

ads_data_redaction: If this option is enabled and the ad_storage consent status is denied, Google ad tags will remove all advertising identifiers from requests, and the traffic will be routed through pings without cookies.

These options are only present if they are enabled.

If you want to request consent from your users again, you can regenerate a private key in the module, and all users who have already accepted or refused your cookies will have to make a choice again.

You can set the retention period for consent before the user is required to make a choice again. By default, the configuration is 390 days, which is just under 13 months, the legal duration.

A time in milliseconds allows you to delay the loading of the popup on the screen.

Blocking User-Agent

You can define a list of User-Agents for which the consent popup should not be displayed.
