Compliance & privacy
Kixell Tag is designed to facilitate your compliance (GDPR, ePrivacy) while preserving marketing performance.
No personal data collected by Kixell Tag
Kixell Tag collects no personal data for its own account: your visitors' consent choices are stored locally, on your servers.
Google's Consent Mode v2
Consent Mode v2 is natively integrated, with three modes (advanced, restricted, basic) that drive ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage according to the user's choice. Details in CMP features. Microsoft consent is also handled.
IP exclusion
You can exclude certain IP addresses from the popup display and from tracking — useful for your internal teams or during tests, so as not to pollute your statistics. The setting is in the Settings → IP exclusion menu.

127.0.0.1, 192.168.x.x) or non-routable addresses, and make sure your server forwards the visitors' real IP (X-Forwarded-For / Remote-Addr headers) — a misconfiguration can block collection for legitimate visitors.
Multi-subdomains
Consent can be shared across several subdomains of the same site, for a consistent experience across your entire scope.
Cookie deletion on consent withdrawal
If a user withdraws their consent, the corresponding cookies are deleted.
Consent register and proof
Kixell Tag keeps a consent register (viewable and exportable as CSV), associated with a timestamp, which constitutes proof of the user's choice. The retention period is configurable (390 days by default, i.e. the legal duration of about 13 months). See CMP features.
