Criteo

Kixell Tag deploys the Criteo tag for retargeting and aligns your product identifiers with the feed provided to Criteo.

Enable Criteo

  1. Turn on the Enable the Criteo pixel switch.
  2. Enter your Criteo account ID (the account's unique identifier).
  3. Optionally, enable user data: the hashed email address is then sent to Criteo to improve matching.

Product identifier configuration

The product identifier sent must match the one in the feed provided to Criteo:

  • Product ID: base field (id or reference).
  • Prefix / Suffix: with the keywords {lang}, {LANG}, {country}, {COUNTRY}.

The Criteo tag and the sending of user data are fired only after the user agrees in the consent banner. See CMP features.

Criteo, advertising retargeting

Criteo is a retargeting platform that re-displays personalized product recommendations to your visitors across a large network of publishers. The tag measures conversions and, with the hashed email, improves audience matching for a better re-engagement rate. Fed by Kixell Tag's e-commerce dataLayer, Criteo targets the right products to the right users — while respecting consent.
